Fresh Artists

"The core of our organization is Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator! These two powerful products unleash the astonishing power of children's art to speak their stories to corporate America. Through Adobe, their art goes where they cannot."

Donated Technology Brings Art for Everyone in Public Schools

Fresh Artists of Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, believes art is a canvas that provides hope, purpose, and voice to future generations of creative thinkers. The Philadelphia School District spends only $0.83 per child per year for art supplies. Fresh Artists has purchased and delivered $120,000 in art-making materials to help offset the gap in arts funding in underfunded public schools.

Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop are at the heart of its artful impact on access to high-quality public arts education. The organization relies on Photoshop and Illustrator to create high-resolution digital copies of student work to use as thank-you gifts. Corporations that donate to Fresh Artists are given their choice of large-format reproductions of children's artwork, and each child artist keeps their original. The proceeds fund the delivery of art supplies and innovative art programs to poor schools.

Adobe software is the engine that drives this thoroughly unique and fresh approach to saving art making in the inner city schools, while providing businesses with vibrant artwork and meaningful civic engagement. They believe that they can bring their novel student-centric philanthropy to other school districts struggling with massive cutbacks in art funding with the ultimate potential of empowering hundreds of thousands of children's lives through art.
